Finals dates for 2019/2020 – and new teams join Wessex

At the Wessex League AGM the dates for the finals for next season were announced.

The leagues are yet to be confirmed as a number of new teams from Bournemouth, Swindon, Maidenhead and Burnham were admitted to the men’s and women’s leagues.

The CUP finals will be played at Aldershot Garrison on Sunday 26th January 2020. The LEAGUE play-off finals will be at the same venue on Sunday 17th May.

The annual Warrior Tournament will be held on Sunday 29th March at Aldershot.

There are to be new, tougher sanctions for teams who do not send in match results and copies of scoresheets on time.

There is a pre-season meeting at Queen Mary’s College, Basingstoke at 7.30pm on Tuesday 17th September and a referees briefing will be held at the same venue on Thursday 19th and Thursday 25th September.
